There are a four ways of getting help and guidance with using LTSV-RD.
1. Help-tips and Explain-tips
The first is to make use of the tips provided. Many controls and fields have a help-tip alongside, in the form of a question mark with a blue dashed underline, like this ?This is a help-tip, which will give more information about a particular feature. Just hover your mouse over the question mark to see the text. A variation on this are the 'explain tips', which are used to give the meanings for information such as abbreviations. These will have the blue dashed underline applied to the actual subject, as with LMSLondon Midland and Scottish Railway. Extant from 1923 to 1948.
2. User Guides
The second way is to refer to the user guides. These cover various aspects of using the site, and give step-by-step guidance on many of the processes, together with screenshots. The guides have been split into 3 parts. The first outlines how to use LTSV-RD (for example how to find particular information). The second describes how you can register for an account and then start posting content yourself. The third is for Site Editors and Admin users only. Use the links below to view these. The guides can either be viewed on-line or downloaded in PDF format.

3. Check the FAQs
I have added a section for frequently asked questions (technically I suppose it should really be 'potentially asked questions'!). This can be found in the About section of the Home area, and it may provide answers you are looking for. If you have any suggestions for additions to the FAQs page, please get in touch.
4. Get in touch
If you still need help with any aspect of using the LTSV-RD website, then please get in touch and I will do my best to assist. You can do this by using the Contact Us form on this website (link in the Home section, or at the bottom of every page) or by e-mailing me at tom(at)ltsv.com.
