| Caption: | Passing an early Ford Transit van in Moat Lane, Birmingham in about 1967, JAR756D was an example of the updated Scammell Townsman Mechanical Horse. It carried fleetnumber 3 SA 2756D M, and had with it a trailer whose number ended in 0428 GT3. The numbering of the BR road vehicle fleet was complex but I hope to cover it in ar article on this website in due course. |
