Note added Mon 15/11/2021 by Thomas Young Category: Other/General Note that the Marcroft Engineering lettering on the larger building has been removed. The bodyshell of a class 56 diesel loco can be glimpsed in the far left, along with a tiny bit more of the BYA with the trial hood framework. In the centre are a Mendip aggregates hopper and a BYA hood section. The five flat wagons across the middle are believed to be ones converted a few years ago into EMU barrier wagons. The couplings are not visible but the wagons have had over-ride protection plates fitted above the headstocks. Source: Photo |
