Title:	First of 164 MD-class double-deckers delivered
Details:	LT had ordered 164 of the new Metropolitan double-decker produced by MCW and Scania after trials with a demonstrator in August 1974. The first, classified as MDs, were delivered at the end of 1975, with delivery of the batch taking until February 1977 to complete.
