Title:	Millennium Dome bus services M1 (from Charlton) and M2 (from Greenwich) started
Details:	Special services using 17 single-deck DAF SB220East Lancs buses from New Cross Garage. Vehicles numbered as MD1 to MD17 (of which MD8 to MD10 were LPG-powered with roof-mounted tanks) and given 'select' registrations V1GMT to V17GMT. Route M1 was intended to use a guided busway but this was delayed and later abandoned.
