| While all of the Ford Transit Connect and Custom vehicles delivered in recent months have featured hybrid power systems, full-sized Transits continue to be taken in pure diesel format. This is shown by the grey fire brigade diamonds on Transit crew van 9503F seen at Lillie Bridge on 12th August 2026. Also of note is the standard (but slightly misleading) inclusion of 'Highway Maintenance' lettering when chevrons are featured on the back. |
