As mentioned here a couple of years ago, Oxford Diecast has been producing various OO scale (1:76) road vehicle models decorated as London service vehicles. I recently managed to obtain two more of the models released so far, these being the Land Rover Freelander and Ford Transit Mk7 dropside truck, both in LUL white/blue/red livery. The detail and finish on both models is very good, although this large photo does highlight a couple of areas that could be improved with a bit of touch painting. Bear in mind that the car on the left is only 2 inches long! As with the vans shown earlier, the Land Rover comes in a small box and retails for around 5-6 pounds. The dropside truck requires the use of a considerably larger box and, perhaps as a result, seems relatively over-priced at 12-15 pounds.
