My records list over 1200 Ford Transits that have been used as service vehicles by LT, LUL, LCBS and their respective successors. The basic model has always been the short-wheelbase, low-roof van, although other variants are increasingly common. 5234F (VO51FPE) is an example of the base model of the Mark 6 Transit, and was photographed at Griffith House on 25th April 2004.
