RATP-Dev (owners of London United, London Sovereign and Epsom Buses) have had some success in bus tendering recently, gaining additional routes in North West and South West London. This has resulted in the delivery of numerous new buses, and also an increased requirement for crew ferry vehicles. A curious choice of vehicle for this role is the Ford Transit van, a long-wheelbase high-roof van not being the most efficient vehicle for moving just people around. Several such vehicles have been noted at Edgware recently, though their anonymous liveries suggest they may just be short-term hires. Caught leaving the bus station on 18th September 2018 was silver MK18YOJ.
