Former service vehicles can often be recognised by retaining their blue skirts. This example goes one better by also still having fleetnumbers (as the photos taken at BCA show, all lettering is normally removed when vehicles are withdrawn). 6059F was one of a pair of 'jumbo' Ford Transit crew vans (the other being 6060F) taken into stock on the same day in September 2006. Both were allocated to Stratford Market Depot, and though both were reported quite a few times, neither was ever photographed. Interestingly they were both returned off lease on the same day in July 2011 and were sold through BCA the following month. Derek found the former 6059F in Eastleigh, Hampshire, carrying lettering for railway contractor S&T Cover.
