As has been described recently, many of the early Leyland Nationals bought by LCBS had a relatively short service life before being sold or converted for other uses. The early examples were 11.3m long models (coded LN, LNB and LNC) while the bulk of the fleet was made up of 10.3m versions (SNB and SNC). LN7 was selected for conversion into a mobile shop and information vehicle, primarily for use during the Green Line golden jubilee celebrations of 1980. Its first outing was to Battersea Park on the 6th of April, where John took this photo.
