Various London bus companies have made use of former London taxis as crew ferry vehicles over the years, most notably Metroline and Stagecoach. However, most were replaced within a couple of years by newer cars and/or minibuses. The latest addition to the list is Arriva Kent Thameside, who took four Carbodies TX4 taxis in April 2010, numbering them as CF11 to CF14. Based at Dartford they serve the TfL routes operated from there and hence can be seen at locations such as Bexleyheath and Eltham. Photographed at the latter on 28th April was K690FUL (CF13). Three of the four have been seen so far, and all retain standard black livery with just the addition of an orange Arriva logo on the bonnet.
