Text: The Volkswagen Crafter was recognisably related to the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, differing only around the front end. However, the two models were separated in 2017 when an all-new Crafter was launched. The new design is also sold as the MAN TGE and I was rather surprised to see a UK-registered one of these the other day. As far as I know this is the first time MAN has marketed a light commercial vehicle in the UK. This has no relevance to service vehicles at present but, since MAN trucks are quite popular for the central fleet, it is possible the type may feature eventually.
