9th August 2007
The August issue of Rail Express reports that the JGA hoppers displaced by new HOA wagons (see 12th July 2007 entry) will be put to general use by EWS. There is also a photo of the first JPA bogie cement tank to be delivered.

12th July 2007
Some of the recently delivered HOA hoppers are being repainted into Cemex-lettered white and blue livery. They are planned to replace the orange-painted, former-RMC JGA hopper fleet on workings from Peak Forest.

15th June 2007
A new TOPS code to appear is BQA, this being applied to former YEA LWRT wagons modified as steel carriers. The conversions, undertaken at EWS Thornaby, include renumbering into the RIV series.

9th May 2007
Alongside the new MHA conversions, further similar MTA wagons are being produced by cutting down former MKA/ZKA wagons at Margam. The number series 395251 to 395405 has been allocated. New wagon deliveries include the first of 72 HYA coal hoppers for GB Railfreight.

14th March 2007
The MHA rebodying programme has started up again, this time at Marcroft Engineering. The latest batch is numbered 396102 upwards.

16th February 2007
Network Rail has placed an order for 175 new wagons.

10th January 2007
Freightliner has taken delivery of its first HXA 'shortened' coal hoppers.
