| Details: Between 1994 and 1998 the London Northern bus operating unit was owned by MTL, a company formed through the privatisation of Merseybus. During that time, Atlas Bus and R&I Buses were acquired, and the overall operation was branded as MTL London with a plain red livery. The origin of this Ford Escort van (D783DLM) photographed at Brent Cross bus station on 1st March 1996 are unknown, but it was probably being used as an engineering support or crew transfer van. MTL London was purchased by Metroline in 1998. | |||
