Details: The blue beast! This un-numbered Citroen Relay exhibition unit is similar in configuration to the red-liveried AY07EYZ but the cab is to a later design and the bodywork is even larger, somewhat dwarfing the front end. First registered in February 2009, it was seen at the back of the Acton Museum Depot in early March in company with similarly-liveried Ford Transit 5494F. Although the lettering is different, it is thought to have replaced the latter vehicle in the role of instructing children about safety on the tube (as AY07EYZ does for bus travel). On 31st July 2009 it was parked outside Oakwood Station with its nearside awning extended. The week commencing 3rd August 2009 was 'be safe' week at the LT Museum and both the red and blue vehicles were thought to be attending. However, the tube function was actually performed by a small trailer.
