Details: East Thames Buses use a variety of former Dial-a-Ride minibuses as service vehicles, mainly for crew ferry duties but also, as seen here, for engineering support. Mercedes-Benz 609D minibus M924COY was originally numbered 31 in the Central London Dial-a-Ride fleet, being renumbered E103 and repainted from red to white when it was transferred to the service fleet. As can be seen in this view of it leaving the Mandela Way base on 4th May 2006, it has also been treated to flashing roof lights and obscured windows. |
