| Details: Tower wagons were an essential part of the service vehicle fleet until the withdrawal of the last trolleybus services in 1962. Many of these vehicles were rebuilt from former buses, including 728J which had started out as STL401. This served in its new incarnation for just over 10 years from December 1948. | |||
