| The first 75-reg service vehicle to be reported was AY75FZH, a Ford Transit Courier Mk2 van found at Metroline's Hayes Garage on 18th September 2025. The type, colour, light-bar and registration suggest that this will be a Metroline vehicle, although no lettering was (yet) carried. Given that Metroline has also recently taken a batch of white Renault Kangoo vans, I was surprised to see Fords still being added. However, the Renaults were electric and it may be that some garages are not yet ready to operate such vehicles. Note that Hayes Garage is not used for any 'live' TfL bus services. It is instead mainly used to house the co-owned Westbus bus and coach fleet, plus a large number of withdrawn Metroline buses. It could be that this van has replaced venerable VW Caddy RCZ7361, which would suggest it will not be seen very often. |
