| You wait ages for a bus garage open day and then three come along all together. After Swanley on 23rd August and Crawley on 6th September, it was the turn of Stagecoach London's Catford garage to hold an event on 13th September 2025. The open day was to mark the 111th anniversary of the first opening of the garage, and there was also a running day along most of route 54 (which passes the garage) with a very varied collection of preserved vehicles in operation. Unfortunately there was nothing of interest (service vehicle wise) at the garage itself, so here we see LBSL VW Crafter Incident Response Unit van 9057VW passing nearby. This van is based at Eltham Bus Station but has not been shown on LTSV since it was freshly-delivered to Acton Works in February 2020. |
