The AEC Regal lorries converted in 1939 were barely recognisable as originally being half-cab coaches. This picture taken at Catford Garage on 17th July 1955 shows 446W (rebuilt from T181) and 404W (T221). 446W was a stores lorry while 404W was a towing lorry, but both shared the same style of high-sided open bodywork with solid quarter-tilt. | |||
