Although the Bedford CF was never as common as the Ford Transit, it did prove popular with the publicity department. Their vans could often be seen at bus stops replacing timetables and information posters. One of the earliest examples was 2027B (OJD727R), new in 1977 and seen here at Baker Street. Publicity vans were based principally at Stockwell and Stamford Brook bus garages, and all carried red livery.
