Not previously known is the fact that former 4252F survived in the fleet of London United. It was seen at Hounslow Bus Station on 25th September 2006, with its old CDS fleetnumber still carried over ten years after leaving that fleet. The lettering on the bonnet reads ACCESSIBILITY SUPPORT TEAM, suggesting that it has been used as a wheelchair ramp maintenance vehicle, these ramps being among the least reliable parts on early low floor buses. It also carries the logos of both London United and their owner Transdev. |
