Detail: MVRs were lists, issued once or twice a year, that detailed the service vehicle fleets. There were issues covering the main fleet (mostly numbered vehicles) and separate issues for the private car fleet (which often included numbered cars). The lists were usually arranged by user departments and gave a lot information about each vehicle, including their allocations. There are no registers in this collection as yet, but included are some amendment sheets. These were issued periodically to show changes to the MV fleet. Later documents that detailed changes are also filed here but had titles such as 'Record of Cars Received' or 'Record of Vehicle Movements'.
