Peter Terry seems to be taking over from Ray as the person who gets the latest SV 'scoops'. For example, he was in Northolt on 9th February 2025, when the Central Line was closed between North Acton and West Ruislip for engineering work. Parked nearby were a couple of service vehicles, including Ford Transit Custom crew van 8848F. This had initially been (and may still be) a Power Supply vehicle based at Tufnell Park. However, it had recently gained a yellow 'safety' stripe in addition to its standard LUL white/blue/red livery. This is similar to the stripes carried by vehicles with Balfour Beatty (and others) but, as far as I know, this is the first application to a 'standard' LUL vehicle. It remains to be seen whether it is a one-off or the start of a new policy.
