| It was not deliberate but I have ended up with something a bit special for the 6,000th photo to be added to LTSV. This Mitsubishi Outlander plug-in hybrid electric car was new in mid-July 2019, seemingly being nursed by our Ray Monk. He saw it being taken for a test drive without markings on the 16th, then sitting in the lorry yard in newly-applied incident response livery on the 18th, and then once more on the 20th when it was parked next to the CDS offices. This last encounter revealed that the car carries the fleetnumber 8830MIT (note the first ever use of a 3-letter suffix) and is lettered as an 'Engineering Response Vehicle'. We wait to see where it will be allocated. |
