Both of the ex-military AEC Militant recovery lorries bought by LT in 1966 survive, although not much is seen of either. 6x4 example 1457MR was last reported at Ongar in 2006 and was found recently at Finmere Station in Oxfordshire, looking somewhat neglected. This location is owned by the Coulsdon Old Vehicle and Engineering Society and is home to a motley collection of road and railway vehicles, the latter including some EMUs belonging to the Network SouthEast Railway Society. Also visible in this view is an ex-Metropolitan Police armoured prison truck and a left-hand drive Enviro 500 open-top bus. 14th August 2016.
