| Having chalked up over 4 years service with LBSL Passenger Data, Ford Transit minibuses 6852F and 6853F were returned to Acton Works in August 2014 following their replacement by new Vauxhall Movano minibuses. However, rather than going off-lease they were transferred to LUL. 6852F was photographed at Stepney Green Station during engineering works there on 16th August 2014. The LBSL lettering and orange square striping has been removed, with Underground roundels and TfL lettering applied in their place. This is not the first time that former LBSL minibuses have worked for LUL. 2 of the 4 Volkswagen LT35s leased in 2004 did the same, including at least one that gained new logos. |
