Vehicles used by bus control inspectors have included cars, estates and vans but they were all readily identifiable by their roof-mounted roundels. The 1984 generation were Bedford Astra vans like 3272B (A427SCR), photographed outside Walthamstow bus garage on 20th September 1985. These vehicles were frequently the most short-lived in the fleet, often being replaced every one or two years. |
