3078B was one of a large batch of Bedford CF2 vans with MHY/Y registrations that were new in 1982. Most were assigned to the publicity department, but 3078B went elsewhere. The new image editing software I am using doesn't seem to be able to sharpen and clean-up old photos as well as the previous one, and the lettering on the cab door is not quite legible. The top line appears to read London Regional Transport (which I have not seen on a service vehicle before), while the second line may be General Manager (Buses). There is also an Abbey District sticker on the bonnet. My records show 3078B as being allocated to Victoria, while it was photographed inside Chalk Farm garage on 19th April 1985.
