We're back! October 2010 brought the rather surprising news that the East London Bus Group had been bought from Macquarie by Stagecoach. This was surprising since it was Stagecoach that had sold the operations to Macquarie back in 2006! After a short period the Stagecoach name and beach ball logo started reappearing on their buses, replacing the Selkent and East London logos that themselves were re-incarnations of ones used in the last years of LBL! The first service vehicle to be seen with the new branding was previously unknown Ford Focus estate car FH57VSU, photographed at Eltham Southend Crescent on 2nd February 2011. It is not clear whether this is a recent transfer/acquisition, or if it was operated anonymously by ELBG. Note the fleetname on the roof and the legal lettering on the door.
