This van is slightly puzzling. Arriva London used to put large fleetnumbers on its crew ferry vehicles, but not on its engineering vans. The preceding two photographs showed Vauxhall Combo vans that appear to be ferries, but that did not display numbers. Conversely, this example is evidently an engineering van (note the light-bar and the rear chevrons), yet when I saw it it had a large number 95 on the front. As an aside, fleetnumber 95 is of course already carried on a Vauxhall Corsa car at Barking. One final point is that engineering vans used to wear an orange Arriva roundel rather than a blue one. Photographed at Lea Valley garage on 10th September 2010.
