Another new name to add to the list of LTSV contributors is Ian Jordan, who recently submitted a few 1980s shots and one recent one. Taken in 1987, this photo shows Vauxhall Astra estate car 3303B parked by the bus stands at Oxford Circus. As was common with service vehicles at the time, the London Transport lettering has been omitted (or removed) but it retains secondary lettering that reads 'Development Director (Buses)'. New in early 1985, 3303B lasted for four years. Such vehicles were among the last 3-door estates to be made. Bus fans will notice the MCW Metrobus on route 16A on the stand behind. The 3-piece blind on this shows it to be one of the five prototype vehicles that spent most of their life working from Cricklewood garage.
