Photographed outside Tottenham Garage in 1933, this line of vehicles is headed by an AEC 506 stores lorry that had been delivered new in 1928. It had fleetnumber EN20 for a time, being renumbered 49Z in 1939. It is perhaps unlikely it ever carried its new number, since it was withdrawn and sold (to the War Office) in late 1939. In fact no fleetnumber is visible in this photo, just the name of its home garage applied both to the cab and the open bodywork. Parked behind the car (which may also have been at LT vehicle but which is unfortunately not identifiable) is a Morris 1-ton truck. Although listed as a van, it is clearly more akin to a truck with a tilt cover. Numbered M15 it had been delivered new in 1931 but was only to last 6 six years, hence not being included in the 1939 renumbering.
