Having not been seen for a while, Damon caught up with Sovereign Scania recovery truck R671KVV at Baker Street on 28th August 2006. As can be seen, it had had a repaint and a few modifications. The livery was basically as carried before but with the yellow lettering and markings changed to white. Modifications included the fitting of an additional light bar, and the removal of the bumper-mounted (sighting?) poles (compare to this earlier view). Although it was presumably being driven sensibly, the tilt of the vehicle, and the raised rear axle, make it look even more like a racing truck, cornering at high speed!
