| I was very glad to see this picture of Ford-Iveco Super Cargo demountable 2554F leaving Acton Works on 25th May 2006 as it confirmed some information about the bodies carried. Feltham dropside DB22 is evidently longer than the other dropside bodies, and suggests that DB22-24 are indeed limited to being used with these larger Cargo lorries. Other demountable dropsides have just two doors per side. Non-demountable dropside lorries 2522-2524F are very similar to this combination, the bodies having three doors and the cabs three steps. However, they can be recognised by not having the support legs beneath the rear of the body. |
