Here's something you don't see every day. A lorry towing two buses. The story behind this is that Wombwell Diesels had bought RT4730 and converted it into a towing lorry to take redundant LT buses to their scrapyard. When collecting RF372 it broke down near Watford. AEC Militant tow truck 1457MR was dispatched to assist and is seen preparing to head the convoy onwards. Dated circa 1972.
