| Details: A rather surprising find at Acton Works on 6th November 2021 was 9142VW, a Volkswagen Crafter dropside truck with LUL markings but no skirt or stripe applied to its white bodywork. Interestingly, I had published a photo of this vehicle when it was seen at the Bedfont dealership back in November 2020, and I had speculated that it could perhaps be destined to be a service vehicle. The fact that nothing more was seen of it made me think I was probably wrong. The only solid fact about this vehicle is that it was not licensed until February 2021. Whether it was delivered to LUL then, or if it had only recently arrived when Ray photographed it, is unknown. | ||
