Details: The two MAN tractor units delivered in September are now in service in full LUL livery and with dayglo wheelnut covers. The red band has been added between the blue skirt and the silver 'safety' stripe, but does not extend around the front. However, the main reason for including this photo is the trailer. Ray reported that this carried the number T78, thus confirming that this is the number allocated to one of the two new Dennison flatbed trailers. This is clearly the one with the lower headboard (see this photo for a comparison), which means that the only unknown now is whether this one is extendable or not. Oh, and it would be good to have confirmation that the other one (the extendable one with the taller headboard) is in fact T77! Seen leaving Acton Works on 4th December 2017. It would be interesting to know what the low-loader visible in the background was going to collect. It does not look like the type used to carry tube carriages.
