| Details: We are fortunate in having contributors with access to certain LUL locations, allowing the publication of photos such as this. Taken on 17th September 2008 as Neasden Depot, it shows a pair of artics waiting to unload new wheelsets. This involves a tight reversing turn into the depot entrance, which is beneath the roundel (and seen in the previous photo). Facing the camera is Mercedes-Benz Actros 2603, new earlier that year, with an unidentified Crane Fruehauf trailer. Beyond is Atego 2580M with CT37. Just visible to the left is resident Ford Transit van 5859F, while the other Transits further along the road are both contractor's vehicles. Finally, who remembers the giant lighting mast in the background being tipped over at the 1983 open day? | ||
