| Details: Possibly the oddest conversion of any London Transport vehicle befell DMS1515 (THM515M) in 1990/91. It was extensively rebuilt as shown above to match an image used in publicity material at the time. The middle section was based on the 1973 underground stock used on the Piccadilly line, while the rear featured a cab and first seating bay of a Network SouthEast class 321 multiple unit. Dubbed the Supercar, it appeared in TV adverts and at events, and gave an interesting comparison between the respective sizes of the vehicles. | ||
