| Details: The main event in February 2020 was the arrival of the first new Incident Response Unit vans for LBSL. As predicted, these make use of the Volkswagen Crafter vans which have been accumulating at the Bedfont dealership over the past couple of months. The first new IRU to be photographed in service (other than at Acton) was 9056VW, seen at Stratford City bus station on 22nd February 2020. One of the previous generation of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans is visible in the background and it can be seen that the layout of the lettering is very similar. However, the change from red to white livery has resulted in the lettering being blue rather than white. The other difference is that the orange/yellow chevrons on the side are applied in a continuous band instead of the rather haphazard layout featured on the Mercedes. | ||||
