| Details: The Lifts and Escalators section had a fleet of about 30 Ford Transit Custom vans, of which 23 were crew vans and 7 plain vans. Having taken delivery of 22 new crew vans in March/April 2019 it was no surprise when 6 vans followed in early May. What was a surprise was that Ray managed to be on hand to photograph them being delivered from Acton Works to Frank Pick House, just as he had done for several of the crew vans. Shown here is 8780F and an un-identified sister leaving the works. | ||||
