| Details: The first of many? The new Ford Transit Custom was launched in 2013 but it was not until mid-2014 that the first examples were added to the central fleet, while none of the larger Mk8 Transit have yet been reported (the last Mk7 appears to have been 7820F in April 2014). One of just 3 Transit Custom vans noted so far is this one photographed (with permission) at Edgware Road Station on 16th October 2014. Although carrying fleetnumber 7926F this is thought to be an error for 7826F. The Transit Custom comes in two heights and this is a high-roof example. Note that the van is not as tall as high-roof Mk7 van 7495F parked alongside. | ||||
