| Details: An interesting recent development was the delivery of several new vehicles in connection with the 'insourcing' of the LUL power supply maintenance. A 30 year contract was awarded to Seeboard Powerlink (later UK Power Networks) in 1998, with a half-way get out clause. LUL decided to activate this clause, and the contract was brought back under LUL control in August 2013. The main operating centre appears to be an industrial estate on Station Road, Tuffnell Park, and among several new vehicles photographed there on 20th August 2013 was Renault Kangoo Maxi van 7714R. | ||||
