| Details: The Manchester Metrolink tram network opened in 1992 and, like several other schemes, combines on-street running in the city centre with the re-use of former railway lines elsewhere. Photographed at Shudehill tram stop in central Manchester on 28th January 2012, MA58OJF is a Ford Transit van operated in support of the network. Note the contoured paving in front of the van. This is to discourage (but not prevent) drivers and pedestrians from straying onto the reserved track area. | ||
