| Details: The Centrewest bus operating unit was one of several to invest in new service vehicles of its own soon after its creation. 3 Leyland-DAF and 1 Mercedes-Benz 609D vans arrived in 1989, the last of which is pictured here at Westminster. As can be seen it carried the number SM1, and was based at the unit headquarters near Paddington. | |||
