| Details: Chiswick works was home to the training school, and this used a fleet of cars as well as buses to train and evaluate new drivers. Most of the 1974 batch of Ford Escort estate cars numbered 1843F to 1854F were used by the training school, and carried lettering and L plates as seen here on 1848F. The Escort van in the background (1776F) was also used prior to its delicensing in January 1977. | |||||
