| Details: The 1980s Ford Escort van came in two varieties, the rarer of which is seen here. This is basically the estate car shell without windows. Most vans had a more vertical rear. The operator is the original Sovereign Bus and Coach Co, formed from the split of London Country North East. Carrying a silver and blue livery that may indicate it was acquired with the Welwyn Hatfield Line bus company, the van was seen at Stevenage on 29th March 1990. As with most vehicles operated by this company, localised fleetnames are carried. | ||||
