Was this van really white? All other LT Austin J vans (including the one this replaced) were grey. Notably, number 1492B was a white vehicle, so I wondered if this was a recording slip-up. However, the photo found on-line certainly looks lighter than the standard grey livery. Which leads to the question why was this van white?... Thomas Young 14/10/2022
Photo at https://thetransportlibrary.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=24754. Marked as unknown, the location appears to be the side yard at Victoria (GM) garage, and the van has a 'Radio Control' notice in the windscreen. Thomas Young 14/10/2022
